Course Description
European economic integration has been a fascinating process of deepening, widening and enlargement during the past 50 years or so. This course will introduce the key elements of European legislation aimed at creating a European internal market in which there is a free flow of goods, persons, capital and services and look at the important process of financial and monetary integration in Europe including the huge daily flows of money and financial assets. Recommended prerequisites: Successful completion of Bachelor-level courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, international economics, and financial economics.
