Course Description
The Seminar Environmental and Resource Economics aims to provide students with a state-of-the-art overview of the most important topics in this environmental and resource of economics. The topics addressed include general overviews of the recent literature on pollution, renewable resource and non-renewable resource use, and valuation. In addition, more specialized sessions address issues such as the economics of climate change,behavioral economics and the environment, trade and the environment, economic growth and the environment, ethics, the economics of environmental crime and the choice of economic instruments to implement environmental policies. Thus, students are exposed to a broad overview of the hot topics in this field.
